Any way to scale up the resolution of IVAN? I play mostly on a very pixel-dense screen and I can barely make out stuff most of the time.

Not that I'm aware of. what about setting your desktop resolution to 800x600 while you play? That will be a pain in the ass but it's better than not being able to see what you are doing

You can always play fullscreen. I avoid it myself as it makes the game run much more quickly, which while not normally a problem makes it difficult to cancel mid-run.

I made an account just to ask:
Is there any more news on higher game resolutions?
I have 2 monitors and need to switch between playing IVAN and other stuff. So fullscreen or reducing screen resolution won't work.
Only thing I can think of is running it in a VM...

Dedicating an entire VM to IVAN would certainly be overkill.
You can use DOSbox:
- Get DOSbox and download the DOS version of IVAN from ivan.sourceforge.net
- Open dosbox-0.74.conf (or click the DOSbox Options .bat which will open the .conf file)
- In the [render] section of the dosbox .conf file, change
scaler = normal2x
to scaler = normal2x forced
- Run IVAN from DOSbox and it should upscale it 2x (or you could use the normal3x scaler if you have some sort of obscenely high resolution monitor)
