Today I got killed during an enner fight, and had a life saved, and - I didn't even noticed that - I lost my head (and survived!). I only saw this when the message about the head dissappearing came up while I was happily munching away the dead Enny.

Also, that's utterly irrelevant, but after I got Loricatus pissed, I was happily running around and stabbing stuff with a banana peel dagger +5 (including killing Rondol with it). Until it rotted away, that is

its says the severed head disappears - i think what happen is your wand of mirroring shattered creating a mirror of you that was promptly killed. only mirrored stuff, non perma angel equip, stuff from the sneaky chests and golem parts disappear like that

Sorry for bringing an old post up, but... a groin can be severed? :/

Yes it can, though it happens rarely.

In theory, it just takes a direct hit to the groin, but I guess most humanoids tend to have it covered better than they have their heads.

As for the head, I think this COULD happen if the enner beast was meleeing You and the first attack killed You, and the second one severed the head. Perhaps.

I don't think body parts can be severed after you (or the enemy) is already dead

Let's just say some appendices on my body roam freely.

I've seen severed groins of zombies. I don't believe they can be severed normally (as like destroying the torso, it simply kills the creature leaving a corpse) but I think that it's possible for them to be left in the rotted pile of body parts left behind when a zombie rots to death. It's probably pretty damn rare since the groin is probably more likely to rot away than the torso.

I personally have never had my groin severed in IVAN.
For instance, whilst testing my atomic bomb in AtomicIVAN, I stepped on it and all my limbs were severed, and my head, but my torso and groin stayed firmly together - although dead.

Well I've had koboldy groins all over the place. And even though leprosy may have been the cause, I am pretty sure I severed them! But just sure

Kobold groins? As far as I'm aware the only severed groins you'd see are of zombies and mirrors.
