I think someone posted a win years back where they summoned a ton of wolves in Attnam and fed them large chests made of ommel bone until their stats were all in the 200 range and used them to clear the town. I dont have time to search for the post though.

Do the new bone materials like Dragon bone also give stat buffs, or just the ommels? Are they even edible?

It's just the ommel bone/tooth, because they are ommel materials.

Actually no, that's a bug! Otherwise, canines, bears and necromancers can eat bone.

And petrified dragon bone is classified as a mineral, so bone-eating will not help you there.

Hmm, I kind of want to do a wolf attack victory now

I got a high priest ending once where I beat attnam first before taking on oree , I am pretty sure I had a pack of buffed wolves (along with 2 tame mystic dark frogs) I dont think any of the wolves survived. It got pretty chaotic though so I don't know how they fared generally against the regular NPCs (not counting The bossman or his angel)
