Eagle V

After starting ivan, I pressed continue - to continue a quite good character - upon which my CPU started tripping penguin balls (see graph below). Is there a known bug that renders save files in IVAN corrupt?

EDIT: I see now that i pressed start instead of continue, but that has never given me problems anyway, so my guess is it has to do something with broken save files.

Broken bones files maybe?

Are the bone files in the save folder? It worked again when I deleted all saves.

Somagu

No, bone files are not kept in the save folder.

I may hazard a guess that you had a broken wizard mode file, perhaps.

I know I've had corrupt saves before, I don't remember why. Something to do with Autosave I think

Yes it does... recently I had a power shortage during playing IVAN and Autosave did messed up my normal save (the game keeps them both for some reason). Heck, that would be another victory for sure

Batman?

I been trying to do the Super High stats training per alverdoks training guide, and something about it causes my game to crash constantly.

Does it crash on a certain dungeon level? How does the level look like at the time - are there lots of plants/monsters/items lying around? Can the game be resumed from autosaves?

If it can, I sometimes find a fair way is to make the bad crashes go away go to other levels and hang out there, for a while. Try it.

Batman?

I thought for a second it had something to do with there being a lot of banana peels on the level, but it crashes everytime I try it regardless of the baanan peels count. I had some wizmode files that got screwy a while back so it may be a problem with the auto save. I am going to try deleting Ivan and reinstalling it clean to see if that helps.

Unrelated: the '$' get all items command in LIVAN doesnt work. (at least not in the version I have)
