Cloth crafting CTD

Hi all, whenever I try to craft anything made of cloth, my game crashes with the error attached. Playing on dev build.

what kind of items can be created with crafting? There is not much information available about crafting on the wiki.

Most non-magical objects can be crafted. There are not many limitations for now, you only need the materials. The system checks for the volume of raw material you have available, plus if the material is suitable the to crafted item (no bread swords), but if you have enough material, you can craft mostly anything.

You will also have to stand next to a crafting station, though, like an anvil, a furnace, a crafting bench or a tailoring bench.

Do specific item types require specific crafting stations?

Yup.

* Crafting bench to do most recipes.
* Furnace to turn any metal stuff into ingots.
* Anvil to turn ingots into any metal stuff.
* Tailoring bench to create cloth items.

Some simple recipes don't require any station, but I would be hard pressed to say which recipes those are.

Is crafting items an efficient game strategy, or is it just a beta-ish feature right now? how much in- game time is used when crafting items? I am pretty sure that SPOILER ALERT. Click here to see text. so i am wondering if the tradeoff is worth it?

I would test it myself, but I only get about 20 minutes a month to play at this point, and right now I am trying to get my Hurthling Monk to beat the ultimate dungeon in ADOM using only unarmed combat.

I'd say focus on that monk. Crafting is entirely optional, as non-player characters don't use that part of the engine. I guess it's a beta feature which hasn't been stabilized yet.

The bug has already been mentioned, but maybe an extra case will help.

Tryed to craft belt with 15 chunks of spider silk and one piece of elven cloth. Played on the windows 10 system, v059 release.
