At any point in the game you can decide to liberate New Attnam from the clutches of the imperialists. Simply attack Richel Decos or his guards to begin this subquest. Take particular care to attack only [[Richel Decos]], his [[Guard|rookie guards]], the [[Zolku|shopkeeper]], the [[banana grower encourager]] and the [[tourist]]s. - attacking anyone else will turn the natives hostile and break the quest.
If you manage to overcome Richel Decos and his cohorts, New Attnam will be freed and all the natives will have a change in dialogue. However, you will earn the ire of Huang Ming Pong as the natives will stop bringing him bananas and he will refuse to agree to a sumo match. If you wish to start the revolution and still gain the belt of levitation, make sure you beat Huang Ming Pong in sumo wrestling before you take on Richel Decos.

Having read the encrypted scroll, you discover that [[Richel Decos]] has sold you into slavery under Petrus in an attempt to avoid paying Attnam more taxes. Unfortunately for him, Petrus and [[Sir Haedlac Galladon VII]] are already wise to his tricks, due to reports he had been buying medium sized castles with the immense amounts of treasure seized from the natives of [[New Attnam|Tweraif]]. Petrus would like to investigate, but cannot do so until spring when the ice will thaw and Attnamese ships will be able to reach the island of Tweraif.

=== Shadow Veil Retrieval ===
If you gave the encrypted scroll talk to the imprisoned necromancer in the Cellar of the Cathedral of Attnam, he reveals to you the location of the legendary [[Tomb of Xinroch]], the final resting place of the greatest dark knight who ever lived, whose life story you can read [[History of Dark Knighthood|here]]. You will be sent on a quest to find the fabled [[shadow veil]], an artifact cloak capable of enabling living creatures to pass through walls yust like ghosts do. The imprisoned necromancer plans to use this cloak to escape from his prison.
Should you delve into the Tomb of Xinroch, find the shadow veil and then return with it to the necromancer, he will brand you with a brand of undeath that will allow you to continue deeper into the Tomb, where even more danger awaits. Even if you die afterwards, though, you will gain a 2x multiplier to your score for delivering the shadow veil.
=== Becoming the Master Dark Knight ===
Having killed the resurrected [[Xinroch]] the elder grand master dark knight deep within his own Tomb, you can take his [[lost ruby flaming sword]] and kneel (use sit command) on an altar of [[Infuscor]]. As you have bested the greatest dark knight that ever lived, she will knight you and promote you to Master Dark Knight of the Unholy Order of Infuscor, thus ending the game and earning you a 5x 4x multiplier to your score. == Aslona == ''This quest can only be started AFTER delivering the encrypted scroll to Petrus but BEFORE talking to him again to get the quest for killing Elpuri.'' Sir Lancelyn seeks help from Attnam in Petrus' court for his home kingdom of Aslona. The [[Seges]]-worshipping seaside kingdom is facing numerous crises and looming civil war after the mysterious death of King Othyr. Speaking to Sir Lancelyn and accepting his task will begin the quest. Two locations will be revealed on the [[world map]]: the [[Rebel Camp]] led by [[Harvan Black-cloak]], and the [[Castle of Aslona]] itself, under the de facto rule of His Excellency [[Efra Peredivall]], Lord Regent of Aslona. Both leaders suspect the other of murdering the king. Speaking to the Lord Regent in Aslona will lead to three tasks to aid Aslona, though the player may choose to support the rebellion by bringing the results of these tasks to the rebels. As these quests require visting various locations on the worldmap which may or may not be confined to a single continent, accepting the Aslona questline from Sir Lancelyn in Attnam grants the player access to his ship, allowing movement across ocean squares even without [[levitation]] or [[swimming]], activated by moving into an ocean square and choosing to "board ship y/n?". This does ''not'' grant movement across [[water]] within cities or [[dungeon]]s, only the worldmap ocean. The ship grants ocean movement not only to the player, but his entire team allowing (relatively) easy movement of entire armies to other islands and continents. === Kidnapped Prince === [[Lord Mittrars]], the field marshal of Aslona, explains that [[Artorius|the king's son and heir]] was away from the kingdom at the time of King Othyr's death. The prince was recalled to the castle but has been captured by [[goblin]]s, and the player is asked to rescue him from the [[Goblin Fortress]]. === Fresh Water Supplies === This quest is given by [[Senex]], the priest of [[Seges]] found in the Castle's temple. The objective is to retrieve a [[weeping obsidian shard]] from the bottom of the [[Fungal Caves]]. === The Nuke === [[Myrddin Wyllt]] will give you a quest to find a device from "the long lost empire of Otoul'iv Ik-Omit". It is at the lowest level of the [[Pyramid]]. === Regalia of Aslona === Once you have fulfilled the three previous quests for one side of the civil war, you will be asked to retrieve an ancient sword from the leader of the opposition. Lord Regent holds [[E-numa sa-am]], while Harvan Black-cloak has [[Asamarum]]. You can actually bring the sword from one leader to the other at any time and win the game, but doing so before finishing the three previous quests will only net you a 2x multiplier to your score, while doing so with all three quests fulfilled will end the game with a 4x multiplier to your score. You can also acquire both swords and bring them to [[Petrus]], which ends the game and earns you a 3x multiplier to your score. Talk to [[Kaethos]] for explanation of the quest, then go to the [[Underwater Tunnel]] level 2 and find the buried staircase leading down to the [[Crystal Cave]]. Talk to Terra, the older priestess of Silva, and she will send you even deeper, to the lair of [[Lobh-Se]]. Once you defeat Lobh-Se, she will drop a magical mango seedling she devoured. Take the seedling and bring it back to New Attnam, then plant it (drop it) at the banana landing spot (where the banana growers would leave bananas for the ostriches to pick up). The seedling will take root and protect Tweraif from invasion. Ensuring the freedom for Tweraif will end the game and earn you a 2x multiplier to your score. === Vice-Roy of New Attnam === As an alternative victory once you have freed Tweraif, you can go to Attnam and talk to [[Thesaurius]] the hoardmaster. He sits behind his desk in the treasury, located in the right wing of the Cathedral. If you have enough [[Gold (currency)|gold]] on you, you can bribe him to gain the (forcefully vacated) position of vice-roy of New Attnam. Becoming the new (and hopefully better) ruler of Tweraif will end the game and earn you a 2x multiplier to your score.
= Side Quests =
If you manage to defeat Huang in mortal combat, you will be rewarded with the [[belts|belt of levitation]] and a [[Shirt of Decos Banana Co.|shirt with a decos banana co. advert]] which you can use to gain some gold based on the amount of time you've spent wearing it. Huang will also teach you some martial arts, giving a boost to your unarmed combat skill.
