Body armor is a piece of armor that covers the torso of the player.
It comes in two variants: Chain mail and "Solid". Solid armor is identified as "plate mail" if it is made of a metal alloy, and simply as "armor" if made of a different material. Chain mail is simply "chainmail" no matter what it's made of.
Special body armors include:
- the Armor of Great Health which raises your endurance and likely attracts stronger monsters,
- the Shirt of the Golden Eagle which is obtained by defeating Oree the Blood Daemon King. Essentially a plot device, although it is quite strong and light,
- the Dragon Cuirass which is essentially a thicker, heavier and stronger body armor with spiked shoulders and AV 18 in its unaltered form (LIVAN only), and
- the Shirt of the Golden Jaguar which gives the wearer telecontrol, polycontrol and haste along with AV 14, and can be found in the Vault in Kharaz-Arad (LIVAN only).
